Bob Larbey

Robert Edward John Larbey was born on June 24, 1934 in Lambeth, London, England. He was a writer, known for As Time Goes By (1992), Please Sir! (1968) and Age-Old Friends (1989). Married to Patricia (Trish) Marshall, he was writing partner of John Esmonde, the pair meeting when they attended school in Clapham.

After leaving school, Larbey got a job in an insurance office, then did National Service with the Army, stationed in Germany with the Education Corps.

He died on March 31, 2014 in London.
